To date, we have tried to support many customers with travel. Throughout these processes, we realized that the most difficult issue for a travel agent; to express itself to the most appropriate audience in the most accurate way than to continue its activities in the sector it serves.

When we decided to write the article “about us”, we realized that it is not really as easy a job as we think and tell other companies.  We know that introductory posts are perhaps the most recently read section on a website. However, each company must have a section that describes itself in a section of advertising and promotional materials. And of course, this article is extremely short and needs to contain clear information about the services provided.

When you get to know Turhanlar Tourism a little more closely, you can understand that it is a little different from similar travel agencies.

So why is Turhanlar Tourism different from other travel agencies?

“We really love our job.”

Perhaps this is the only and only reason for our success. Because we know; however, when you love a job, you work to improve yourself in that area and become more successful.

“We are constantly searching to be better at our work”

We are constantly doing research to improve ourselves and to offer new destinations to our customers. We try to follow whatever is new in these areas and adapt them in such a way that they will be happy for our customers.

“We are not creating a great solution”

We know very well that the work we are trying to do is a difficult task above what is predicted. When we plan the travels of many different customers at the same time, we encounter various demands. But rather than looking for excuses as to why these demands cannot be met, we are focusing on how these demands will be met. Therefore, when we prepare these tour programs, we produce “solutions” not” excuses.

“We work disciplined and programmed”

No matter who the customer you serve, whatever your working conditions are arranged; if you want to be successful in that field, we believe that you should work in a disciplined way within the framework of certain programs. We organize the workflow for every tour program we work on and make sure to stick to it.

Of course, these are not all the characteristics that make Turhanlar Tourism different. When you get to know us better, you can better understand why we are “different”.

ALERT: AVOID BAF TURIZM, RANT A CAR SERVICE!!

Here is my story: I had to change my flight at Istanbul airport. Due to flight disruption I missed it. Turkish Airlines offered me a hotel for free until my next flight. They guided me how to find the hotel desk at the exit of the airport. Accidently and unfortunately I approached Baf turizm counter (I was not able to spot the proper Turkish desk) with a request for hotel service which was already arranged by Turkish airlines. When I mentioned this to the Baf staff, they said, ok, they can manage, the hotel is free. Then they asked me how to pay, mastercard/visa, etc.. I asked why I should pay since the service is free by Turkish Airlines. They answered this is for the transfer. I thought ok, maybe that is the way. I had to pay 7000(!!!) TL for the “so called” transfer. Now I know I was a big stupid fool. Next morning I went to Turkish airlines asking if this was a proper way to manage. They informed me this was not the company they contracted to, I went to a wrong desk.

So the Baf turizm pulled me in, offered nasty business, requesting an unreasonable high price for the “transfer”, without giving me an invoice of the payment. they did this knowing I have a voucher from the airline for free hotel service. They are not contracted to Turkish Airlines. This is UNACCEPTABLE! They fooled me, they took advantage of the situation (tired, frustrated, lost), they did a nasty business! 

Avoid them, do not make any deal with Baf turizm at Istanbul airport!!
